Prairie Crocus Regional Library The purpose of the Prairie Crocus Regional Library, a non- profit organization is to provide effective, fiscally responsible library services to the community and to welcome and support all people in their enjoyment of reading and lifelong learning Our Goal: - To provide equal access to information, ideas and knowledge through books, programs and other resources to enlighten and enrich personal lives. - To provide technological infrastructure to our customers with enhanced local and global communications and resources. - To uphold the principles of intellectual freedom as described in the Canadian Library Association Statement that is flexible and responsive to the changing needs of our community |

What's New There are always new books on the New Book Shelf to check out! Internet Usage No Charge to use the computers for Internet use. There is a minimum usage time of ½ an hour if demand for the computers is heavy. People who are just playing games must give up their computer for anyone doing serious research. This is to be refereed by the Library staff Printing Photocopying is available, please talk to the librarian for more information Memberships Membership to all residents of Rivers and the Office Hours Winter: Wednesday 2:00 to 8:00, Thursday 1:00 to 4:00, Friday 9:30 to 5:30, Saturday 10:00 to 2:00. Summer Hours: Wednesday 10:00 to 12:00, 1:00 to 8:00, Thursday 1:00 to 4:00, Friday 9:30 to 5:30. Not open on Saturday for the months of July and August Please note, that for July and August we are closed on Saturdays The library is closed on New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, the August Civic Holiday, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Remembrance Day, and Christmas Day |
